After that I quit as winch bitch till it was switched over to a masterpull synthetic line.

Really nice winches. I really like the air free spool it is almost zero drag if the line is spooled properly making it stupid easy to run out the line and a lot less back breaking. They spool in super fast and don't seem to mind being worked really hard.
If I could afford one I would snap one up in a second.
I have a Mile Marker 12,000 electric I bought around 2004 or so.....people said they aren't good but it's still going strong in 2017.
That's what I bought as my first winch when I was in high school. What a waste of money that was. The first time I used it when I was actually stuck the motor burnt up. Mile marker sent me a replacement which I sold and replaced with a Superwinch. I still have the Superwinch on my D90.
Any body know of a complete sealed solenoid unit upgrade so i dont have run 10ft of wire up to fire wall to keep it dry
Aren't the Superwinch solenoids waterproof? I seem to remember them doing a display at SEMA with the winches in a fish tank.
