Mine is 270k and climbing.
I've owned it since 105k and other than the electrical fire, it's all been basic maintenance to be expected at the mileage (alternator, water pump, hoses, radiator, coils, plugs and a front prop shaft)

My 1998 is only at 167,000. It is going to take me a long time to catch up to you because I only put 5,000 miles per year tops on it most years.

318k miles on my 2000 D2. Third engine (porous blocks), one transmission rebuild, and everything that can be rattled apart on So. Cal. desert washboard either replaced (many times) or welded back together. I decided it's a race to see who can rest in peace sooner. Since it's in my hands, I bet I win.

I met a guy in England that had 385,000 miles on his early 1970's Range Rover - still on the original engine.

I had 196,000 miles on my 1991 Hunter Edition Range Rover when I sold it - had to put head gaskets in it when it overheated, a new radiator at 120,000 and a couple of water pumps and a new heater core but that was about it. Most of the problems I had with that truck were related to the cooling system.

My old Series IIA 109" wagon has something north of 375,000 miles on it.

7. I banged a 7/10 in my old Disco. That was before it got all the trail damage and smelled like dog vomit.

Never taken a redneck cruise?

You should have set in first low in a large field about to be plowed again, pointed it at an angle, let it roll along, and just nailed her on the swaying roof rack.

...not that I've done that, of course.

With my DII, it's less about the actual mileage, and more about the nature of the mileage. At this point, it's no longer quite half off-pavement, but it's still up there.

Cheers,

Kennith

I bought my 96 Disco with about 12?k on it. It was already kind of beat up. Only fixed what I needed to keep it running, not running great , just running. At 243k I sold it. It leaked everywhere but the fuel system. Only left me stranded once when the fuel pump died. My wife’s 94 had 116k and was much nicer when purchased. I’ve kept this one much nicer despite 2 kids and a dog. It’s got 189k and still going strong.
