For a D1 I much prefer the stock Castors.
That would be the BoostCastors are one of the ugliest LR wheels ever produced
I have a set of boost with street tires with about 60% thread left, and a set of CSKs with MT 235/85's mounted on the Disco that will need to be replaced in the near future, I'm trying to decide which wheels to keep, with the new rubbers, 235/85's (undecided about AT or MT) and which set to sellWhat are you putting them on? What are you trying to achieve? Making a truck historically accurate?
It's highly subjective. My personal preference is for CSK on the appropriate Rangies, Boosts on Discos and Defenders. Boosts look good on any Rover (in my opinion) but I don't think the same holds true for CSK wheels.
Sell the CSKs. They look out of context on your otherwise gorgeous Disco. If that's an LSE you're driving the Boosts are a natural fit. You might fetch a higher price for the CSK from someone doing a Rangie restoration. Boosts aren't as rare, but there are people with older crappy 90s they paid too much for who want to update the look.
Will do, nice RRKngTGr - let me know when you're ready to let the CSK's go. I need a spare or two...
