Where does this go ?

Hey all can anyone tell me what this is and where it goes please it’s located on the left hand side of the truck and tracing back appears to be going towards the evap canister I have a 4.0 v8 Thor thanks for any info

I just happen to have my hood open..
It connects to Plenum.

So today I am 100% certain that the hose goes back to the charcoal fuel vapour canister from there they run as three hoses to the engine bay one goes to fuel rail the other looks to be going to the purge valve but I still can’t find a location for this one

That looks like the charcoal canister vent. It should go the a valve sitting next to the cruise control actuator.

FYI you have an open vent line near that transmission pan visible in the 3rd picture.. my guess is that's the trans/t case vent tube..

Mine is just like yours setting behind the engine not connected to anything and everything runs just fine
