I just threw in a random D2 year, they're all the same:

I like these 'cause they're made in Germany. Fit well and last. Have a set on my D1 for 12 years now - Just remember to remove them before you go through a car wash. Have been buying this brand for all of my cars (Land Rover, VW, Scion, etc).

** Forgot to mention, The Weathertech brand is "in-channel" meaning the fit inside the window channel, they fit better and don't make weird whistling noise at speed. The vent visors that mount outside and use 2-sided tape suck (such as AVS and Lund). The tape doesn't last more than a few years at most and it's a bitch to remove the residue once they fall off.

1999 was a crossover model year. Both D1 and D2 were produced so it is not surprising that some parts catalogs are not up to the task.

Try searching for a 2000 model year and I bet you find better results.

to close the ticket thanks for the advice they came quickly and appear to fit well on the D2. Tomorrow i will report back if i have issues with them while driving. As tight as they fit i cannot imagine there will be any fitment issues!

Thanks again for the advice... if i am not lazy maybe pictures tomorrow!

oddly enough the driver one fits well... The passenger is a bit lose but i think it will be better as time goes on. For function they work well cutting down on wind noise and allowing me to leave the windows down about 1.5 inches to allow the cool to breathe during the day. I give them 2 thumbs up so far.

looks great!
Thanks they do look good but i really like the function. Leave all 4 windows down about an inch and you cannot tell and even on the hot days the inside is bearable after sitting in the sun. Now to get the lights wired and get the A pillars put back on.
