I'm looking for a trailer to use while camping so I have room in the truck for 4 mutts and a wife.
Don't want the common large military trailers (M1101,1102 etc), just something small with the clearance to make it through some pretty tight forest roads.
1/4 ton M100 style would be ideal but I'm open to see what's out there.

OR, get a scrap axle from Will, keep the hubs and use LR wheels. BAM!

We have four dogs, cannot imagine trying to camp with any of my idiots.

Fuck man, if you had 1 mutt you could maybe have 2 wives. Ever think of that? Or are you calling kids mutts? Cause if that’s the case your stuck with them. Illinois says I had to feed them till they were 18.

If I ever lose this wife I'll get another dog.

Nobody forgot that. My daughter burned herself in the kitchen one time when she was about 4 yrs old. I figured out right away the nurses thought I did it to her. Different people kept coming in and asking the same questions and writing down my answers. Talk about a fucking quiz I had to pass.

I've thought about a good trailer like your talking about. Those little teardrop trailers look kinda gay. I looked at a couple trailers that offered different hubs and you could bolt a Disco2 wheel on. I was also thinking about buying a trailer and modify the suspension. Running matching wheels would be pretty cool.

I'm not really looking for a camper type trailer though if something interesting came up I'd look at it.
The Coleman Versa trailer is cool if I could find one.

I'm in Virginia. I may still be interested if you aren't to far.
This is what I got today. The wood will be replaced and there's an opportunity to move the axle to underneath the leaf springs. Then I'll get some 15" wheels.

Looks like you're in SoCal. Bummer.
Here's the axles. Flipping the axle qill get me a few inches. I plan on stripping it and bed liner the whole thing with Raptor liner. Hopefully redo the bow in metal. I can get bigger fenders to accommodate bigger tires. My goal would is to be able to tow it without a drop hitch. There's lots of parts available for these.20220817_193809.jpg
