I'm not sure what to make of that. On one hand, I like seeing "Jurassic Park" cars. On the other, the rest of the plan doesn't sound reasonable at all.

This is totally awesome. I always liked the Jurassic park Jeep Sahara's and this takes it to another level. Basically what the Ford Explore should have always been if it were gas powered.

Can the drive train on the LR3 handle that kind or torque? The whole suspension and drive train on the raptor are tough as nails. It literally took rocket scientist to develop the shocks, NASA played a role.

Oh, good choice going with Jurassic Park and not Jurassic World also. It's like seeing Ecto1 driving around, it will get alot of looks. Should ditch the engine swap and just stick with the aesthetics.

It's like I said in another thread. Some people have more money than sense. On the other hand, if they got the jack, and that's their taste, who's to say they are wrong.

Was able to drive the truck yesterday. When I got in and fiddled with things, I was able to pull harder than should be necessary (pretty damned hard) to get the vehicle out of park and it came out. The truck was parked facing downhill, and I wonder if this contributed to the reluctance of the transmission to leave park. Going to test this out.
I also thought, given this shifting difficulty, perhaps the transmission had a fluid issue (never changed, dry, etc.). Drained the fluid and replaced. What came out looked fresh/clean so I think she is good. Going to change the transmission filter (no record of it ever being done) and fluid once more mid-week.
So after all the (questionally) helpful replies, we find the truck was parked on a hill and the pawl was stuck.

Swirly and tactical. HGTV meets 5.11. At the same time, if you hit something hard enough to shake that loose all kinds of things are flying around inside.

It's just the orientation. Devices like that should be mounted with the brackets toward the front of the vehicle.

I'm not sure what the heck they were going for with the finish, but even a poor engine turning job would have looked better than that. I see no event in which any reasonable person would call that attractive, unless it's some abstract art project I don't understand.

That is pretty fucking stupid. Now if you replace the paper towels with toilet paper and that burner with a toilet seat and some kind of container, well now you have something practical the whole family can enjoy.

I know some may think I'm overly cautions here but is it me or is that burner to damn close to the tank for comfort?

Once one REALLY sees what happens when 87 and flames meet it kinda sticks with you.
