There have been some abuse of the bulletin board lately where people have posted a lot of trail pictures etc. on the bbs. While we do appreciate trail pictures and pictures of your Rovers, the bulletin board is not the appropriate place for them. It is ok to post an occasional picture to illustrate a tech question or reply to such. However, trail reports and pictures of your car should be emailed to Ho instead. This will allow him to create a gallery with no 50k size limit on the pictures.
Our reasons for making this request is to control bandwidth so that we can continue to provide this site for free, and to ensure that trail reports and pictures in general can be easily located down the road. Pictures in posts consume a lot of bandwidth. Also, it is a lot easier to find a set of pictures 6 months after a trail run has occurred if it is in the trails section than it is to remember which thread of the bulletin board it was posted in. Pictures and trail reports posted in the trails section will also be retained far longer than anything posted on the bulletin board will.
