Can you send track info from your GPS to this program? (I have a Garmin Vista GPS)

Also is there a way that you can just list 4 wd trails?

I would think so...I have the Delorme GPS that goes with it....the Earthmate I think it's called. I would think there must be interface cables for other GPS. Did you check the DeLorme site or call them?

I can interface the two. Its just that there is no manual for TOPO USA. I guess I have to read the stuff on the CD.

The manual is in the help section of the CD. It is to much information to put in a book. You can send tracks from your GPS to your computer if you have a Garmin cable to connect to your computer.
Good luck,

I have Delorme Topo 3,0 and now 4.0 as well and I have a point to mention, and I have brought this issue up to Delorme which is working on a software patch (always check for updates). When using a GPS to offload track logs into Topo, the last track log point, no matter where it is in the country always links back to the place where you are when the GPS offloads the tracks. IE when I went to VA and shot some points and then uploaded them to my computer in DE the last point I shot in VA connected to DE. This is a major pain in the ass and can make a serious f'ing mess to clean up if your tracks are tight and you've saved multiple tracks. In response to the earlier question, I'm not sure if you can turn off everything but the trails but you can always create a new layer and trace over the 4x4 trails. By the way the 3d shaded maps print very well, we used them last year for the SCC event in the Poconos. Any questions email me and I can try to help.

Anyone here try the stuff from Maptech? I have a copy for my area and it's slick. But I don't like to depend on and not to mention lug my laptop out on trails. :)
