Does anyone know of any trails in or close to Greenville NC. I would love to go riding/camping if anyone lives out this way.

I have "heard" of a place toward the beach in Atlantic Beach/Beaufort area....a jeep spot in a mudhole...not sure exactly where, but if you go down there and ask around, i'm sure you can find out where, also, LeJeune may well have something..

I know it takes a little while to get there, but I've aslo heard that you can get a ferry with your Rover over to Portsmouth Island, south of Ocracoke, but I"ve never done it and can't seem to find much information on where the ferry to Portsmouth is, or how much. I know portsmouth island it deserted and there are NO facilities but that there is an abandoned and maintaned old town in the center...could be interesting. If you decide to go, let me know!

The next time I'm over that way, I'll ask around and let you know. That would be a great camping/trail riding outing if its permitted. I'll let you know what I find out!

I don't know if this is really in your neck of the woods, but it is on the east coast....

There are places along the coast you can do some beach running. If you really want to get crazy, try Croatan NF. Never tried it but I've heard its one big mud hole. You won't find my rig going there anytime soon!

Other than those, you can then try farther west with Uwharrie, Tellcio, and a few others.
