Howboucha Indiana, Illinois and KY rovers.
The Red Bird State Recreation Area is slated to open on National Trails Day, June 7, 2003. In preperation for the event, we are gathering a select group of interested enthusiasts to do a "trail prep and clean up" on April 5th. This is the day after we take the Indiana DNR Brass out wheeling.

We have had several trail cleanup days before. Basically, you have to put some time in by driving around and picking up crap. But you also get to play on the trails while "working". After the "work" is done, it's back to the trails for some wheeling. This is the only way you can go to Red Bird and wheel without getting arrested.

If any of you are interested in participating, e-mail me direct at bkearns@howboucha.com or reply to this thread. I need to make the point that you will have to work, but it is fun and play time afterwards is a blast too.

For more information about Red Bird, go to my site, www.howboucha.com and click on the forums section. You will find a thread at the bottom with a few press releases about Red Bird.

Keep two (and four) wheeling,
Brendan Kearns

Brenden I might be able to, it is during my spring break. If I can get off of work I will. I will send you an e-mail when it gets closer to that time.

Howboucha Alen and Chris!
We should be settled into our new house by then. If you want, you could stay at our place. It's about 25 minutes North of Red Bird. I will be there on Friday (April 4) and have a meeting about Red Bird Friday evening. I will be home by 8:00 p.m.

Dugger, IN is South of Terre Haute off of Hwy 41. It's an easy drive from Chicago. It takes me about 3.5 hours to get from my house in Clay City (off of I-70) to Downtown Chicago if that helps. Since you go to Attica alot, my place is 1 hour South, but to get there via Attica is the long way. I will get a map posted online soon for you.
B.K.
