I went out with a few friends today in the GW. First stop was Dictum's Ridge. When we got there we met up with two other Discovery's and a Defender who had already winched up. The guy I was with walked up the rock face like it was not even there. 38" Swampers on a Jeep. I was not so lucky. After a broken motor mount, smached steering stabliser, new exhaust leeks, and hurt ego I turned around. We them went to Kephert Run and tryed out some stream beds. There are some real fun trails back there if you had not been there for a while. Here I got to see how well my new rock sliders would hold up. Awsome. The sliders never moved and now have some nice gashes in them. I did mantage to wack my front bumper on a tree trying to climb out of one of the streams and messed it up pretty good. I did not want that weak thing anyway. All in All a good day. Now a call to Rovers North and a week to fix things I will be ready to go agin. | ||

hey Mike, you have got to let me know when you are up for another trip. Back in Kepheart there are some fun spots. It has been a while sence I got back in there but I had a ball. If I remember right you have rock sliders. Back there you have got to have them. We can look at making the trail longer back there too. All you other local guys need to get on this trail too, James, Dan, Tate, Lester come on now. | ||

Mike, I don't know if I can get off work yet but I may run over to the rock crawling thing over near you this Sunday. I have a friend putting his jeep in on Saturday but he is going back over on Sun. so I may follow him. | ||
