Theodore Roosevelt National Park and the National Grasslands around it are the only place I know of. I have some topo maps that show alot of trails. They could just be dirt roads for all I know though. They are just listed as 4x4 roads. I was thinking about heading out there this summer but wheeling alone out there probably isn't a good idea.

Hi, I thought about the NP, but they've closed most of the roads. Will try the grassland. Had good luck a few years ago 'wheeling the South Dakota Badlands....

Where were you in Badlands? I've done some wheeling in the BlackHills. I'll be there in late June. I'm always amazed at how many rovers I see when I'm in the hills. When I was there last summer I had my honda. It was incredibly frustrating to find tons of open trails with nothing to tackle them. I'm crossing my fingers they will be open in June.
