The Red Bird State Riding Area in Dugger, IN (South of Terre Haute) will have it's grand opening on June 7, 2003. Many of us have worked very hard for the last 10 years to open Indiana's first OHV facility. I hope that some of you get a chance to check it out.

For more information about Red Bird, go to www.redbirdsra.com . Spread the word.

Do it, it's not too far from you Chris! If anyone is going to the opening on the 7th and needs a place to crash, you can stay at mine. Just let me know a few days in advance. I will be working at Redbird on the 5th and 6th, anyone that wants to help will not be turned away.

What kind of work is this? I might be willing to come help you with it. Since I have nothing to do but just sit at home all day.

Mainly laying out the trails and putting up signage. Easy stuff and you get to wheel.

I rolled my Disco today while getting ready for the Grand Opening. Basically, it slid off the "road" and down the hill it went, flipping over on it's top where it stayed. It was a 12-18 ft drop. It was very scary, but my passenger and I are okay, although very sore.

The Disco is completely trashed. The roof caved in, hitting my head. Thank goodness we were wearing seatbelts and are front windows were down.

Hanging upside down isn't too fun. I will have photos later. My camera was left in the delivery truck.

The opening is still on though!

Thanks Robert for the note. I think my left hand is buggered up, and my left side-lower back is throbbing, slight goose egg on my head. Very scary experience though.

The second phone call I made was to my insurance company to make sure everything was fine. There shouldn't be an issue since I was right off the road and wasn't wheeling. I hope everything works out fine for me and that I am able to replace my Disco.

I went outside a few minutes ago and had a talk with my Disco. I apoligized to her for not maintaining her like I should have and given her the life that she deserved. I think she understands, but she is all crumbled up.

I put some photos up at: http://www.redbirdsra.com/disco.htm
More to come......

Alen for our June 21st trip, I have 3 H2s, and I just meet a guy at work with a range, so he will also tag alone. And Scott will also come too. Let me know about how many are going.
