I was going to go for an easy but highly scenic drive this weekend to Mosquito Pass, passing at over 13,000 ft, or Mt bross Trail, up to over 14,000 ft.

Both are very scenic but only rated a 4 and 5. Trails are located outside of the Fairplay area West of Denver.

Please reply if you want to go, it will be fun, providing the weather stays good.

If you want to do either on Saturday I might be interested. I wouldn't rate either trail that high. Maybe a 3 for Mosquito and 2 for Mount Bross. Anyway, let me know!

I have other plans on Saturday so I can't do that day. Sunday it is, can you make it.

Anyone else interested?

Yeah, I can do Sunday. Which trail do you want to do? If it's Mt Bross and if we get there early enough we can hike over to Mt Lincoln. They say you can see Wheeler Lake from that peak. What time do you want to meet up at? I'm in the Springs. Where do you want to meet? Alma, the begining of Mosquito Gulch where it meets CO 9, or Fairplay?

Lets meet in Fairplay at the local gas station at 9:00 am. Hows that sound? The weather report is calling for 100% chance of thunderstoms in the afternoon in the area so as they are both over 13,000 ft, lets get an early start. Wanna do earlier?

Don't know about the hike. As I said before, thunderstorms are going to move in so I don't think that would be a good idea.

I don't know which one to do. I want to do both but not enouph time in the day. Lets do Mosquito this time and maybe Mt Broos another.

Anyone else?

9 am should be fine for Mosquito. It does not take long to get to the top. What color Disco should I be looking for? Mine is a Rioja Red D1.

Epsom Green '00 DII. Can't miss it.

On second thought lets meet at 10am. That way we can have lunch on the trail and gives us both more time to get there.
