I moved up to NC about 4 months ago. I remember seeing some information about a "trail" that started in the lower outter banks and went north along the beach with a ferry trip involved. I can not find the info now.

Does anyone know about such a drive? Where could I get info? Thanks

You can drive on the beaches at various places on the Outer Banks. Ocracoke island, (which has a ferry to get to it), Hatteras island (out to the lighthouse and all up and down the shore, farther up at Oregon Inlet you can get on, and then again up at Corolla. Do a web search, should be plenty of info out there.
There's no real "trail", just areas you can drive on.
