I'm new to the forum. I go to school in MD, and I just got a stock (for now) 2000 Disco II that I'd love to try out. Somebody told me that the trails in GWNF aren't too technical and would be a good place to take it. Is there anybody that is headed that way this weekend (Mar. 26-28) and would like to meet up? I'd like to keep it pretty mild- I have some offroad experience, but don't want to break my rover before I get it ready for anything too tricky. Let me know if you're interested in going this weekend or sometime in the future. Chad | ||

Chad- I'm in school in Lexington, VA. Me and my buddy take my rover out whenever we get the chance. There's supposed to be good stuff up towards Harrisonburg, but I've also found some nice trails down around Lexington. I'll let you know when I'm going so maybe we can meet up. David Kronenfeld | ||

Hey Chad, I might be able to pull it this weekend, my Disco is also stock but did it pretty good a few weeks ago at GWNF, it was mostly mud, but it was a great experience, lets post this again at "event schedule" and try to get a couple more rovers, , but lets do it, I wanted to get new tires for the disco but if I cant lets do it anyways, I'll e mail Walter, he knows that area, and might be interested on a run...cheers -Marco |
