Hoosier National Forest. There's a bunch of trails between Story and Freetown. Right where Brown, Monroe, and Jackson Counties meet. The next time I go I'll get a lat and long. You can choose trails to either twist up your truck or run through some pretty nasty mud holes. Check out my photo gallery. The pictures are taken from Combs road.

been to combs road before and that is the only trail i seen except the one that split off of the main road(goes to story)
We just went far enough to see a barn and turned around because we did not know if we could be back there or not
Have you ever heard of Brownie Mountain?
Brownie Bridge?
Brownie Ridge?
Polk Patch?
What is past the trail after you go through story?
Where do the rest of the trails on combs road go?
Where are the rest at?

Brownie Bridge road is definately a truck swallower. I wouldn't do it without a winch. I really don't know where Combs road goes. I turn around when the pavement starts again. My boss owns about 150 to 200 acres just outside of Houston (I don't think that's how you spell that). I mainly go down there to camp. I do like to grab a few beers and watch the dudes with the 44's blast through the mud holes. They are always shocked with what my LR can do. Anyway, where is Brownie Mountain, Brownie Ridge, and Polk Patch? I don't think I have ever been on those trails. Where are you from?

We all think polk patch got paved over
I could not remember if it was brownie bridge or brownie ridge
and if you keep going on combs road after it turns to pavement if is should go to a trail called brownie mountain but it aint the same brownie mountain I used to play on
Where is brownie bridge at?

There's a cemetary on the road directly west of Combs road. It gets really nasty and then ends where the bridge got washed out. It swallowed two of my trucks.

I have yet to take my Samurai down it though. For some reason I don't think it will swallow that one.

Brownie Bridge is not real far. If you're heading south on combs road, when you get to the stop sign, turn right and then right into the forest after the creek. At the fork, head right and go past the cemetary. It'll get shitty soon after.

My sammy has a 6" SPOA with 33's and spools. It'll go through just about anything. I wish the LR had some more power so I could trailer it down there. It's not a very fun ride on the highway, although it rocks offroad.
