In response to the prevoius threads concerning this event;

Confirmed date - November 14-16, 2003
Location - Dawsonville, GA

As pointed out in the previous posts, this event has been held in Menlo, GA for the last couple of years. Unfortunately, since last year most the properties have become unavailable to us for one reason or another, limiting our options in the area.

It has been a great source of debate as to where this years event should be held. At a recent meeting the decision was made to return it to its original home. This being the tenth anniversary it seemed fitting.

More details will be forwarded as they are confirmed. Currently the website is down, but when back up should contain a pre-registration form. As always the cost will be kept to a minimum, this will cover expenses of staging the event, all extras and proceeds from the raffle\auction will be donated to a local charity still to be named.

Stay tuned, we'll be having a lot of fun, don't miss it!

I have been trying to get to an event to join. The only problem is living in South Georgia. I would love to come to this event. If I am not yet a member I guess I need to join via website or can I do it when I send in my registration? I have a still stock 03 Discovery. I know I will not be able to ride all trails. Are there any for straight stock trucks or not?

Thanks

Hill, you can join via the website. There should be an application form online to print, fill out, and mail your dues. With the exception of protection and accessories, my truck is stock with no lift or tires. I'd say in some if most cases, it's the driver not the truck. If you're rock crawling or waist deep in mud then it could be the truck. Just a thought. You can always ride with someone. You should attend. It will be great fun. At least come for the cookout and such.

I will be in Cartersville this weekend. I am planning on coming in on Saturday. I have not registered and I am not a member. Can I do both of these things at the gate?

Looking forward to finally meeting some of you.

Thanks,

Hill Mainor
