West Ct Rover Club is doing it again: "To Hell and Back IV" Oct 17, 18, & 19th Camping at Shady Pines Campground Savoy, MA http://www.shadypinescampground.com/ Arrive Friday afternoon into the evening, set up camp, & going out to have some local food and beverages. We'll be running a challenging trail on Sat the 18th...anyone showing up that morning needs to have their truck gassed up, aired down and ready to go at 8:30 AM from the campsite meeting area TBD on site. We'll have Rover stories by the campfire as usual on Saturday night...bring the family, we have lots of popcorn left from our "very successful" Rover movie night last month. Sunday, we can hit some more trails or half of the one from Saturday...clean up camp and then head home. We recommend everyone bring the families as the Fall foliage in upper, western Mass is beautiful. This event is "Casual Fall Fun". The trail on Saturday is challenging and a complete inspection of trucks will be conducted SAT morning. Winches, Lifts, Lockers are all recommended on this one! But don't worry, hop into someone else's Rover if your not up to the challenge...it will be a blast to see your fellow enthusiasts crawling over some incredible obstacles. The trail head is a short road ride from this campsite. Cost is $20. a truck for members, $30. for non members. You handle your own camping registration and fee, be sure to tell them you're with the West Ct Rover Club, they'll put us all together...we have some sites already reserved.
