Change of plans. After reviewing the map: Fron the coast I am now going to drive to Augusta Thursday night and stay there at the Hampton Inn off of I-20. Then roll into Dawsonville the next morning. | ||

Steven, I got off work on Friday, so I can head up any time after noon. If you want me to wait, we may be able to work something out. I am worried about The Rover, though...the p.s. gearbox is still giving me a lot of grief. I'm going to get outside and see what I can do with it, and then I'll give you a call. It won't take us too long to get to Dawsonville, so we can be there Friday afternoon/evening. What time do you finish up, Steven? | ||

It is a landrover rally held by the Georgia based rover club. the event will be this upcomming weekend in north Ga. This year will be the 10th one held. Event includes trail rides, games, food, swap meet and auction/raffel. Largest event in the southeast. http://www.solaros.com | ||

Rans, We will have three port-o-lets there. I am not sure I understand your questions though. What are water buffalo? If you are talking about the portable sinks setup at MAR we are not having those. I lobbied for them because I loved them at MAR. | ||

The water buffalo they are talking about is a water tank on wheels that people can get drinkable water from. It is usually a military item. of course there may be a "lister bag". | ||

Water Buffalo that are local to Southeast Asia are given that name because whey like to hang out near water as opposed to their North American Brothern that like wide open plains and cold snowy days. i would plan to bring your own water, the buffalo may be there, may not......fires??? we have had them before....i know there will be a few "common" fire places, but individual????not sure. remember, there are shopping centers only a few miles up the road. | ||

you will be about 3 miles from Mcdonlds, arbys, publix, kroger, captian d's, homedepot, outlet mall etc...............you should be able to get whatever you dont want to bring down. | ||

The Kroger is open 24/7. There is also a Auto Zone, Goodyear and CVS Pharmacy for car or personal needs. |
