I'd be interested in meeting up on that date with anyone who wants to. Details can be worked out when we have a good idea who will be going.

http://www.motocrosspark.com/home.html

IFWDA and the Fat Boys are also holding a trail run that day too...

Later...

Just noticed I put the wrong date on this post...

It should be 1/31/04 Saturday, not Friday...

That's cool, let's make fun of old Brendan! :-)

it happens, there are those that like to wheel there while buzzed. I doubt they "drunk wheeler" (not to stereotype) could afford to fix any damage on my XD. heck, I can't afford to fix it!

I may actually go, but take my Samurai. I need to find a way to get it there. (Keith, did you get my note about the dolly?)

yep, replied just a little while ago...

We can always get some Jeeps to go in front and behind us, that should cut down on our risk of being run in to. :-)

I've been there maybe 6 times, and haven't run into that particular problem. It could just be a matter of time though...

The 3rd Annual Ground Hog Day Run is coming up on January 31 at Haspin Acres. Fat Boys Jeepers is hosting the event for IFWDA. Special admission price at Haspin Acres will be $13.00/person. Tell Pete Collins you are there for the IFWDA Ground Hog Day Run.

You are a guest of Keith Mitchell, and the Midwest Trail Runners.

We will meet at the far shelter straight down from the office pass the dirt drag strip around 9:00am. Look for banners. Should be an IFWDA banner there to mark the spot.

I'll either be in a white Disco, or in a red Jeep Cherokee. Wife would rather I didn't take the Disco out yet.

Lunch will be served. Bring your own drinks
Feel free to bring a desert (cookies, brownies, twinkies, etc.) if you want.

Keith, is it really $13.00 per person or $13.00 per vehicle?
We may be able to make it.

well Keith I think a guy from Fort Wayne (Paul Schram) and maybe some guys from the great lakes area might be down there. The last I talked to him he said he was. If you do see him, I think he has a blue rover, tell him I couldn't come due to the stupid !

Our pipes froze Friday night, so we had a cold suprise when we woke up on Satuday.

Didn't get the pipes unfroze till around noon, so we bagged on going to Haspin.

We'll have to do it again when it isn't 3 below...
