I am new to being a LR owner but not new to off-roading. I have a 98 Disco stock; want to hit the trails at Hollister Hills this coming 3 day weekend (atleast one of the 3 days). Want to check it out at stock level before I start my mods (slowly). Wanted to know if any disco or LR owners are planning to be there, when and what time. We can meet at the ranger station, or obstable course e.g. cement hill. I have portable CB and FRS (let's say channel 5). I'm open any time Sun or Monday. Or for sure, I can be there Sat a.m. (8 or 9ish) since I have a client call 1pm Mountain View. I can hit the trails in the morning for fun and do my business after. Happy trails! | ||

Ron check out http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/norcalrovers We have a trip planned for this Saturday and usually try to go out at least once a month. It would be cool if you could join us, but with your Sat afternoon appointment, it doesn't look like it will work out. Mike | ||

Another discovery for me: Norcalrovers. Thanks for the link Mike. I just requested to join your yahoo group and awaiting for access. Can't wait to chat/meet other LR owners in Ncal. Will keep on eye on your next trip since I have to bail no later than noon to make my afternoon appt. I'll still go out there Sat; good opp to get to know my disco. |
