My company is putting together a self-drive trip to Belize departing Las Vegas on August 24th and arriving back in the states on September 9th. We've got space for fifteen vehicles, with six already committed. Once we're in Belize, we've arranged some special activities in the southernmost district of Toledo, and a one-day dip into Guatemala to explore the ruins at Tikal. Michael Slade's Tawayama Safaris is also providing an all-inclusive tour option for anyone who doesn't want to drive or is unable to secure the proper forms from a leinholder for international travel etcetera. All, In these past few weeks we've added another four participants for our trip to Belize, and hope to see some DWeb regulars on the trek! In the next three months, we'll be shifting from bringing participants on-board to fundraising for our beneficiary organizations, securing even more sponsors and preparing our return route through central Mexico. The trip will cover over 5000 miles in about seventeen days, starting in Las Vegas, Nevada, with five full days for diving, hiking, mountain biking or navigating the rainy-season backroads of Belize in your own Land Rover. Should be amazing. Our return leg will take a different, more relaxed track through central Mexico, with plenty of time to explore the states of Sonora and Chihuahua as we make our way to the States. Some members may choose to continue with the team to Moab for the Solihull Society event in mid-September.
