It's time for a rally. We will leave the Dairy Queen in Spencer at 10:00 a.m. and take a tour of Owen-Putnam and Green counties finest and nastiest roads. We will have a look-see at the Cagles Mill Damn, check out the Eel River, some old mills, bluffs, bridges, the Owen-Putnam forest, the highest and lowest points of the area. The route will be similar to my TT 200 Dual Sport ride, but much shorter. I expect the "rally" to be over by 2:30 p.m.

This is geared as a good get together, and a great excuse to break the winter blues. It is definately an event to bring your "significant other".

All vehicles and people are invited to attend. There are few items to follow though.
-Your vehicle must be in safe operating condition
-It must be properly plated and insured
-It must be capable of driving down nasty, bumpy, possibly muddy or snowy roads.

It is a good idea to bring either a FRS radio or CB.

We will not do anything to put you or the participants in harms way.

Oh, and I know someone will ask, there is no charge, donation, etc. We will stop somewhere for lunch, so you are on your own there.

If you are interested, contact me either by a reply to this thread, or by e-mail at bkearns@redbirdsra.com

To bad it's on that date, I'd like to get out more. IFWDA is holding their convention down in French Lick that weekend, so I'll be otherwise occupied.

Howboucha Keith,
I forgot about that. Oh well. I guess I won't post it on the IFWDA site then. That reminds me, my dues are up.

Keith: What is your club?
I am really "clubbed out" at the moment but if it is informal I am all there (ie: no dues, light rules, etc)

Midwest Trail Runners

Dues are $20 the first year, but that gets you into my club, IFWDA and United FWDA. After that it's $15 which is basically the IFWDA/UFWDA dues. If you've already put in your IFWDA dues, I can see if you could be listed under our club instead of an independent...

Rules are very light, basically no trespassing, and no drunk driving. We mostly get together for IFWDA events (all 3 of us). But with more members we might actually be able to plan more activities.

Just an update that we are still on. Leaving the DQ at 10:00 a.m. Arrive early if you plan on eating. I will be away from the computer all day Saturday, so call my cell (812) 236-3048 if you have any questions.
