This just in from Mike Green: “NEVADA TROPHY” A Navigational Adventure! NEWS & INFORMATION The Off-Road Experience is pleased to announce “NEVADA TROPHY 2004” is scheduled for April 29 thru May 2, 2004. Based at the Ramada Inn in Lovelock, Nevada, NVTR2004 promises to be a great adventure! Let us not forget about those Special Tasks and the now famous Trophy Course to test your driving skills. With over 200 waypoints available, this is GEOCACHEING at its best! Nevada Trophy is unlike any event held in North America! NVTR2004 Format: TBA (either 36-hours or Two 15-hour days). New for 2004: 12-Hour 4WD Class, this class will run for 12-hours only (Saturday). (For those who have never before participated in NVTR and those who don’t want to tackle 36-hours ). Dual-Sport motorcycle class: NV Street legal machines may enter (in pairs only). Important: Every two 4x4’s makes a team; the same applies to the motorcycles, which will be teamed up for safety reasons… solo vehicles will not be permitted. Requirements; A sense of adventure, a GPS, and a Nevada Atlas by DeLorme. Registration & Tech Inspection open Thursday at 1pm to 11pm and re-opens Friday at 7am to 8am. Driver’s meeting 8:30am. Start 9:00am. The Awards Breakfast is scheduled for Sunday morning at 9:00am at the Ramada Inn, our host hotel in Lovelock. Pre-Entry fee is $300.00 per vehicle (due April 1st); Post-entry is $400.00. Novice Pre-Entry is $150.00 per vehicle (due April 1st); Novice Post-Entry is $200.00 Entries are limited to 30 vehicles.
