It's time again the 2nd annual Big Shell adventure.
Sand and Surf March 26th-28th. 70 miles of raw beach and wonderful fishing. Campsites will be between the 30 and 40 mile marker....beach camping at its best.

Departure Time: There will be two groups leaving one Thursday P.M. and one Friday A.M. TBA.

Facilities: Toilet, Shower (you provide the H2O), Generator, Propane Grill and Stove

Food: On your own or families: e-mail Charles Pastrano for a pitch in cbluerover@aol.com. I estimate $40-50 per family.

Fishing: This is the Drum Run time of year. Very big fish! Bring your surf poles and bait.

How many cast nets amongst the group? I lost mine last September.

I can spare a couple of surf rods if anyone needs one.

Oh yeah, bring an extra pair of boxers for Sean.........

I can't wait!!!! Don't think I will be bring Baby (the 101 FC) this year, but you might be able to talk me into the utility trailer for wood and trash.

Anyone going to bring a spare rod so I can try to catch some Drum...or maybe a Shark????

I might have a spare surf rod but I’ll need to do some digging in the garage before I say for sure. I'm also constructing a few shark rigs that I plan on paddling out past the third sand bar. If the shark activity is anything like our September trip we’ll be eating shark steaks for dinner. I'll have two, sit-on-top sea kayaks that people are welcome to use. My wife, Christine and our 3 1/2 year old, Sydney, will be going also. My brother-in-law may also be attending with his family and will bring an additional generator incase we need it. This is going to be a fantastic trip.

Shawn’s going total native and won’t be wearing anything. I’m going to give him a fishing spear and shark tooth necklace to complete his “look”.

Oh, by the way, everyone does know that after mid-night nude beach walking is encouraged, right?

Brett,

If you're bringing your Land Cruiser you and your family are not welcome.

Justin, how you wound me so. You would rather me not attend an event because I was simply driving a machine that in all probability would be pulling you out of the sand pit you dug yourself into? For shame, for shame. Bigotry towards by Toyota product is an ugly and woundful thing.

No, Justin. We'll be in the Land Rover. Unless it breaks down and can't make the trip. If it were too then we'll be in the "running" 4X4.

Oh, if you blow another transmission I'll let you use my Land Cruiser to make the trip. ;)
