Hello all The Old North State will be putting together an event at Uwharrie this coming fall. Currently, two dates are being considered September 11 -12 and October 23 -24. These dates have been selected because they fit around this years MAR. What can you expect? Lead trail rides, contests, a charity raffle, lots of give-aways and an all around good time. Expect the cost for the event to be between $20.00 and $30.00 per car for the weekend. We will probably continue a tradition of a chicken supper which should cost between $6 and $8 per person. We will use the Group campground at Uwharrie. The event will be called the Uwharrie Rover Expedition or U.R.E. a nice play on words, we think. Dan, Sounds great. I am glad there is another Uhwarrie event this year since I cannot make the first one. I will try and rally the troops from Georgia to make it there. Also I will add it to Solaros 2004 Schedule of Events. Let me know when a date is finalized. I like the name U.R.E. and did not figure it out until I read Greg French's post outload.
