1988 Land Rover Range Rover Portofino Red Grey Leather Interior SALHV1144JA338436 Miles 125,000 This is a 1988 Land Rover Range Rover updated with a brand new 4.6 liter engine. The transmission and transfer box work perfectly. This truck has 125,000 miles on it, however the speedometer has been replaced twice by certified Land Rover dealers and is documented in the original owners manual. It shows 39,000 on the speedometer at this time. This truck has been service and maintained by Land Rover dealers all of its life. This is what has been done to the vehicle. It has a brand new 4.6 liter cross bolted short block engine that includes new Cylinder Heads, Rocker Shafts, Water Pump, Mallory Unilite Distributor, Magnecor 8mm spark plug wires, NGK spark plugs, MSD Ignition Coil, new distributor gear, Crower 258HDP Cam and Crower Lifters, Competition Cam Push Rods, Edelbrock Double Roller Timing Chain, Accel 21#/hr Fuel Injectors, Accel adjustable fuel pressure regulator, new fuel rail with a Auto Meter fuel pressure gauge, Updated fuel filter kit, K&N air filter, new Exhaust down pipe, Flowmaster 40 series muffler, 2 exhaust pipe and a Optima Red Top battery. This is a stout engine with tons of torque. No expense was spared when this engine was built. It was assembled and installed by a factory trained Land Rover Master Technician. All of the gaskets and seals used were Genuine Land Rover. We have updated the Fuel Injection ECU to a 14CUX and installed an updated 4.2 Cold Start Chip (PRM3653). This engine is a huge upgrade from the stock 3.5 that the vehicle originally came with. The interior is in good shape. The front seats have the normal wear but over all are in good condition for the year. There are no rips or tears in the seats. The rear seat looks brand new. Everything is complete inside and out. The carpet is in good shape with no rips or tears in it. I have installed brand new Land Rover rubber floor mats. Everything works on this truck. It has some door dings and a dent on the drivers side upper cowl and a small dent in the front of the hood. The paint is in good condition but has some fading on the hood. The windshield has a rock chip that has lead to a crack but it does not obstruct the drivers view. The center console is missing the cubby box and the area around the lid has some cracks. It has a Sony 10-disc CD changer, all of the bumper end caps are brand-new along with the alternator, power steering gearbox, power steering pump, and power steering hoses. I just put 4 brand new 225/75R15 BFGoodrich All-Terrain KO tires on the truck. The wheels do have some rock rash from the previous owner. The AC works and has one new hose; however the system could use some Freon. It has the factory optional sunroof that works great. The headliner has been replaced before and does not sag anywhere. The transfer box leaks a little, but for the year is normal at this age and doesnt cause a problem. This is an original truck that has been well taken care of and has absolutely no rust!!! Located in the Dallas area. Please email for pics at [email protected] Asking $5900
