Full set of five 16" Typhoon wheels with tires, caps, and lugs from '00 Disco II. Wheels are in excellent condition. Very, very slight curb rash on one, all others near perfect. Tires are 4 Michellin XTCs with approximately 70% left, one is brand new Wrangler, never touched the road. In Oregon and will deliver locally. $650/best offer + shipping. Picture is not mine, but same wheels. Thanks, Tom D II wheel

I am told these are not "Typhoons", but the picture is accurate. Also, I will consider a trade for (5) 18" Hurricanes, or 19" RR3 wheels, plus cash if the tires are good. Thanks, Tom

I'll be happy to entertain an offer of $250 for the wheels only.

Thanks Kelly. I'll think about it. $250 probably won't do it, but we'll see. You want 4 or 5? Anyone else want just the tires? One Wrangler is brand new (hairy with a paint stripe around it), two Michillins are near new at 90% (rear), and the other two are more like 70%(front).

Tom, let me know if you break the set and want to sell a single wheel.

Tom, I couldn't find any info on Michelin XTCs. Does Tirerack carry them? Apologies in advance if this question sounds stupid, but I honestly don't know much about tires. Also, if you were to separate tires from wheels, how much are you looking to get for the tires? Thanks.

Edward

Edward, sorry, my bad. The tires are XPCs, what used to be the standard Rover tire (they were on my '95 Disco, too). I bought this truck with 55k miles, and these tires replaced the Wranglers, about 8k miles previous. They are excellent tires and will last a very long time. My first set on my D1 had about 75k on them. I think Tire Rack sells them new for $139 plus shipping, etc. How about $85 ea. plus shipping. That's $70 for each tire, and $15 to get them unmounted. Thanks -Tom

Tom,

My idea would be to take all 5 if you saw fit to allow me to at the $250 price. I am wanting to create an off road set that I can put on for when I go wheeling instead of wheeling with the tires I have for on road use.

Kelly, thanks, but I think $50 is too cheap. I have an offer for $80 for 1 wheel, which is also cheap, but less cheap! -Tom

Kelly - Blame you? Heck no, I admire cheap. But how about $350 for the 5 wheels (only $70 ea ...cheap!), and same deal for Edward for the tires $350. That will give me $50 toward unmounting. Let me know what you guys think - Thanks.

Tom, thanks but I'm afraid your price is out of my range. Besides, I was planning to be up in Portland area in early April and pick up the tires, but now that trip has been cancelled. Thanks again and apologies if I wasted your time.

Kelly - How about $250 for 4 wheels? I can afford to part with them for that. Edward - no problem, sorry you wont be visiting our beautiful city. Cheers, Tom

I'd be happy to pay the $350 for all 5 if you pay shipping. I'm probably dreaming there but if I pay the cost for shipping I can only justify $250 for all 5 wheels.

Email me if nothing else comes along and you get desperate.

Are the XPC's 235/70's or 255/65's? I'd be interested if they are the 235's. E-mail if you'd like: azblake@cox.net

Blake - They are the 255/65 16s. That only makes them a bit wider, however, maybe 3/4"? Thanks, Tom
