1965 Land Rover Series 2A 109 Station Wagon, in need of restoration. I am truly a Rover Nut and bought this truck with the best of intentions, but having just gotten married, I just dont have the time I thought I would to work on it. The truck is complete and needs some work just about everywhere, but has many good bits and is a worthwhile project. It sat for many years but is coming back to life, it turns over and starts, the paint has been striped to the aluminum and I have sourced a good number of the other parts needed both new and used. The frame is weak, but not broken should be good for a while for on road travel. ( defiantly is a candidate for a frame swap). The truck has a hand throttle, tropical roof, 1-ton springs not yet installed, will seat ten, a deluxe and a dished bonnet, defender brush bar ( not installed, new brake lines, new fuel lines, new fuel pump, a decent bulkend, and what looks like a rebuilt motor. In the interest in getting my garage back, I would like to see it sold for $2,200 but am open to offers. The truck is located near Worcester MA. I would be happy to answer any questions. Thanks, David [email protected] 847-877-6122
