Would also consider a whole parts vehicle if the price is right. Body can be shot but frame needs to be close to rust free. | ||

David, I have an 88 RR that I will be retiring in a few months. I will remove the engine and transmission and probably part out the rest. The frame has some surface rust but no holes. Just an FYI, the stock shock towers will rust in a few years. When I purchased my 88 RR about 4 years ago the towers had some surface rust and a small hole. I replaced them about 3 years ago and they are starting to rust already. On my new project I will not use the stock towers. Instead I will install some lower shock towers which will not rust. | ||

Thanks. I would be interested if I don't have them by then. My towers simply look like they have been living under the sea! I just bought the truck and didn't realize(by bad) to what extent the rust was. If you are the one building the towers on your new project, I may be interested in your production of another set.
