Been meaning to post this for some time and as Zodi is on the sponsor's list I thought I would mention it. The Zodi hot shower water pump and heater setup is one of the best camping items I've ever seen for off road camping (by that I mean not backpacking). The Zodi unit is solid and heats almost instantly to point where if the battery operated pump isn't on the water will actually boil inside the coils- well over 100 degrees. A 7 gallon container we used at MAR held enough water for 3 relatively long camp showers. We used it all weekend and in fact several other people made use of it as well. They usually run about $100 and the hot water could in theory be used for just about anything like nearly instant boiling water for washing items and cooking, coffee etc. |
