My little toy (Garmin III+) was stolen, and I prepare me to buy a new one.
Since both G III+ and G V are available, but unfortunately not at the same price, i wanted to know if all data that I downloaded to my PC is direct recoverable by the GPS V.
As Im in Argentina, and the Map Source information is not soo rich for this region: think you that the new "Find" features would be useful in this case?

Thank you

I would be very surprised if the GPS V can't read GPS III+ data. The data format is not that complex anyway, the route and waypoint files are just simple delimited text files.

I agree with axel. The V uses the same software and firmware but just has more memory for data storage so I would bet that it will.

Thank you for your comments.
And what about the new "Goto" features?
Im afraid that without map info the better features are lost...
