Greetings moderators!

How about starting a new sub section in the photo gallery title "Super Modified".
Into this section, photos of vehicles and perhaps text of modifications can be posted.
The moderators would need to set a minimum level of modications, before any posts would qualify.
This would give those members wishing to modify, a visual of what can be done etc. What do you guys think?

I think it is a great idea. I get tired of searching 200 vehicles to look at certaing mods.

Or have members with modified rigs list their mods, and if you clicked on, say, Rovertym lift, everybody's name who has an RTE lift would come up as a link. Same with Winch bumpers, rock sliders, etc, etc, you get the idea.

I'm definitely not a computer genius, but that sounds like alot of time, work, and research for our humble hosts of DWEB.. Just my .02

It's a good idea in theory, but a timely effort put
forward to get it done.

exactly, they work hard to maintain this site and do a GREAT job, that idea would put much more on their back. Which isn't fair I don't think.

Like Robert said, it would be too time consuming to maintain something like that if we have to do it manually. That being said, I won't rule out that we might build some kind of searchable database down the road. If we do decide to go that round, it would have to have a feature where people maintain their own mod list. The database could include links to the galleries. It's not a bad idea, but don't expect to see it implemented for the forseeable future, though.

What is it with guys and lifted J**Ps? There are about 30 lifted J**Ps in my town, and I would bet that only 2 of them have full-sized spares. Can you imagine if one of those 35" Baja Claws went out and that idiot tried to get home on his 22" donut?

btw...

zach...

last night i just noticed that the lara croft thread i started was moved here...since it was not a tech question, when it dissapeared, i just thought it was deleted.

regarding the d-90 rant i pulled off about your "sounds like a guy..." post i missunderstood. i was in a pissy frame of mind that *week*. i just saw your follow up post last night and i understand now, that you were not poking at me.

i apologize for going off.

mike

Zach you aren't be real nice, I dont' think he has any sticker like the one carter pointed out. It is mostly stickers from outdoor clothing companies.

It's no problem, Michael, everybody gets that way sometimes. I don't hold grudges.

And Chris, you're right...those don't get me...it's the Rovertym ones that do it. Buy something from John, THEN put on his stickers. When the guy posts on his site that he will send out free stickers to the guys he owes them to, that's not a call for every cheap bastard who won't even buy an RTE shirt to shoot him a line and waste his time to get some damn stickers. He didn't even charge for shipping! If you had gotten something from him, Brian, it would be different. However, the stickers remain...

zach calm down. I don't see a problem putting one on your car if you didn't buy any. The whole reason people put them on is advertising. It doesn't much matter if you did buy or didn't, it is still advertising.

Congrats Brian, I'm sure it will be great. And Chris, it's not about putting it on there, but getting it for free...nevermind. You're right--not a big deal.
