Well, awhile back I began posting about the tires that I was getting (Michelin XL's-9.00x16). I had purchased these off of eBay from a reputable(?) tire dealer in Canada.

Turns out, alot of the tires were not as advertised, so I will not be getting the tires and will be getting a refund.

I guess in the long run, it's probably a good thing. Those 36's would have meant ALOT of upgrades to my drivetrain, not to mention the trimming, etc that would have been needed.

But damn, I was VERY excited about getting them. Oh well, things happen for a reason.

What a BUMMER! Who was this "reputable" tire dealer in Canada Greg? Maybe we can somehow avoid it if/when we come across him on eBay.

Grag,

There is a place in Vancouver, that has the XL's if you are still looking.

Greg,

That sucks. I must admit though that your deal did seem a little too good to be true.

But all is not lost. You can still get the XZL 9.00's for $175 each. Not the deal you thought you had, but that's still a great price. And at least this price is for real.

Well, I don't want to give out any names. Besides, all I have is the individual's name. Don't even know the name of their business. They had purchased them unseen, and the tires were shipping from a different location, so they were not really at fault. No harm done.
