There are lots of options. Do you want steel or aluminum, street or off-road?

Hmmm, I'm not aware of 18" rims in the DI lug pattern - they may be out there, but I don't think LR makes a rim that size.

LR does make 18" for RR/DII (BMW era and up)

Yes, try contacting Overland World Tours. If you buy a full set of 18 inchers, they may throw in a free D110.

Don't worry guys, the short bus will be there to pick JS up at 10:00 tomorrow.

He even emailed yesterday me asking about "my" rims and I replied telling him it was all a joke. Maybe someone SHOULD set up a foreign account and try to make some quick cash???

I was under the impression that this site was to be used as a resource for disco owners to engage in various dialogue.
Carter, I;ve seen how you talk to people on this site and you are a joke. I suggest you watch how you talk to people. Not all of us enjoy playing with children....BE CAREFUL AND SHUT THE FU*K UP.
And please, stop the slang talking. This is not a rap chatroom.

See the "Pictures of my rover" thread there is a company out there making 22 inch rims for the Disco. They have them linked in one of the post on that thread.. Should look nice out front of Starbucks or the local go-go club. The only thing that I don't get is why on a Disco? It's a land barge of crap for street driving... Why not a navigator, escalade, or an expedition all of which are better on road?

those dubs look fly on the new Rangie, but the Disco is whack...(is "whack" good or bad? I mean "bad" but I'm new at this)

That depends on whether you mean bad as in "bad" or "baaaad", or "bad-ass mofo".

Although "whack-ass mofo" just takes on a completely different ring to it...

JS - seriously, you posted your question on the "non-tech" area of the board.

You are much more likely to get a serious response if you post in one of the technical discussion areas.

So yes, this site is a "resource for disco owners to engage in various dialogue", but you are in the wrong part to be asking serious questions.

I mean, come on, have you read the other posts in this section? (I love the dog that looks like a towel!)

Don't be sore because people used the lighthearted banter area of the board for its intended purpose.

I saw a Green Disco I here in Louisiana, with rather large gold rims on it... it was a scary sight indeed, lol!

Did it have lights underneath? What color? Was the rest of the trim gold? Bet it would look even better lowered - that would be a real vehicle!

I'm new to this site and I had no intention of coming off as a prick...i must've done a good job - my apologies. I just dont like Carter.
Anyway, i wanted to put the 18" hurricanes on but I know they only fit D2's. Therefore, I need another solution. The 16in. are just too small for me and I think an 18 would still allow the truck to do the little off-roading that I do while looking a little nicer. I didnt do much research into bolt patterns before I bought the truck. That's my fault

If it makes you feel any better I don't particularly care for you either. Oh and while you are asking me to stop talking in slang, think back to the email you sent me -you sure didn't spare any slang talk when you thought I could help you with those "bomb rims".

JS -

Have you tried calling a custom wheel shop? Or dropping an email to someplace like www.bitchenwheels.com? Even though LR doesn't make an 18" rim, you can get aftermarkets however you want. (just gotta drop the $$$).
