I love this show, but last nights was great. The two teams had to build a buggy to drive through a mud course. Great show!!! The only sad part was that one team cut the front frame off of a LR, I almost cried when i saw them cutting it!!!!

One team designed a 4x4 with 4 wheel steering, and used tractor very tall and narrow tractor wheels, while the other team built a half track. the tracks were made out of large tractor tires. And they came up with a skid steer system to steer the rig. Very impressive. My wife and i bet the tracks would not work, but they did, right up til the end of the show. Great show. Love that Channel.

Naw, we were watching that "Catch a Sniper" show last night. Junkyard Wars is great fun, but nothing could pull us away last night. Today's a better day!

Yeah, I hope the two men they arrested are the right ones. I just read that they found a Bushmaster in the car. Nice rifle.

zak,

yep, I saw that. I was amazed the half track lasted as long as it did. The front and rear steering was a nice novelty, but until they figured out how to not oversteer it...it slowed them down in the first couple of events....too much steering input and over corrections.

I think its gonna be interesting to see if they can keep them alive long enough to convict them, I bet you somebody is going to take a shot at them on the way from a car to a court-house or something. They better give them full kevlar suits...... hey, on second thought maybe they shouldn't -nothing like some good old-fashion vigilante justice.

I think they need to reinstate corpral (sp?) punishment on them, just for fun, they strap them to the chair.

Yeah, loved the half track. I also like the way they tried to keep the track on, with the metal brackets and chains. That thing was pretty quick too!!
