You could take them to a UPS center yurself, but it will still be about $15-25.00/tire or so, depending on how many zones you are shipping through. Others have had good luck with greyhound bus - or palletize them and put them on an LTL carrier (overnite, Roadway, Estes, etc etc) - they screw you if you don't have an account, but it still may be cheaper than UPS. I've shipped twice thru UPS. For $5 extra they will come and pickup. All I had to do is place the shipping label on each tire (I taped around the tire going thru the middle) or like Bill said bring it to UPS. I think I paid $20 per tire or something like that... |

Just cost me $325 to get 6 tires from CA to NC. But, the pallet weighed almost 600 lbs. |

slap a label right on the tire (don't bother with a box). You're looking at about $30-35 per tire though. Try FedEx GROUND. |

I've used UPS before. It's not that expensive and UPS is used to shipping tires, they do it all the time. Just slap a label on that sucker and you're done. |

By the way, take it to UPS or have them pick it up. Those storefront shipping outlets can really inflate the prices (hey, they have to make a living, just suggesting you cut out the middle man) |

Office Depot and Staples both offer UPS counter rates, do as everyone else has said, label on the tire. You should be able to print off the labels ahead of time on-line at www.ups.com although I've never used that. Never even walk in the door of MailBoxes Etc.. unless you're carrying anal lube. |

lol yeah i didn't take the lube that they had at the door but I'd recommend it for the next guy cuz they gave it to me brutally, I would of stormed out with a "bull shit" but i had to slowly hobble out and then roll my tire to my truck LOL But i'm going to check to see if there's an office depot or a staples around me and see about a ups place and a non shipping outlet fedex and try and find the greyhound website does anyone know how to get into contact with greyhound. I've shipped big stuff but these guys are KY reps or something. |

Correction. Read the shipping invoice last night. Only 450 lbs. Won't be on for a while. Gotta make room for them. |
