I'm from Sweet Home Alabammy When you coming down I could arrange something. I don't know that much of trails around here, but i Know some Discowebbers that know more than me here, that i go riding with. |

Dothan? I'm up there all the time.. well, maybe not all the time, but a few times a year. Almost always for soccer or passing through for soccer. I'll be at AUM in a week or two for a soccer match. -P |

Perrone, when will you be at AUM? That's where I work. Is this for the GACC finals? I know that's coming up soon. |

Thomas University. The team that just ended Berry's undefeated streak. -P |

Let's see, AUM beats N. Georgia 2-0 and that included a PK. Thomas beats N. Georgia 8-0. There's gonna be a battle brewing this weekend. -P |

I spent this weekend driving around the National Forest and wildlife game management area that borders Florida. Kind of a dissappointment. I miss Arizona. BW |

Yea, there isn't much excitement unless you know where to go, and even then it's mainly mud and sand. -P |

Let's see... last time you were here AUM won over Thomas University, 7-1 and we finished out the regular season with a 14-1-1 record... shouldn't be a problem again... I'm only messing with you. It should make for a really good matchup. I hope to catch some of the early matches before the weekend. I'm going to Atlanta Saturday so I'll miss the actual finals. Peronne does your club still make regular club rides? I wouldn't mind seeing some of the trails in the panhandle. As you know, you can make it to Pensacola, Ft Walton, Panama City, etc in a little less than three hours from Montgomery. I've checked out the website and you guys have some great pictures on there. |

Sorry Peronne, just now realized you coached the women's team only. What I said applied to the men. If a had listened to the score you mentioned instead of talking trash, I might have noticed sooner. All in good fun though. Well since Thomas will play William Carey in the semis at 11am, I'll pull for Thomas. Then when we dispatch Belhaven at 2pm that will leave an AUM vs Thomas final for Saturday at 11am. Maybe I'll stop by on my way out of town to see how it's going... |

You'll note that Thomas has one of the very best players in the NAIA and the guys are chomping at the bit to follow the success of the girls. There should be a couple of good games this week. Unfortunately I am sick as a dog and won't be able to make the trip. Hopefully the team does well without me. Our club has been stagnant for some time. The war has many of our members in other areas of the world, and the tough economy has us burning the candles at both ends here in the states. I wish the best success for AUM (except against Thomas) as I felt the coach and the team were very classy when we played there earlier this year. It's a shame one of us has to lose. -P |

One of you guys got your Green D1 parked on the side of the road between Dothan and Enterprise? BW |

not mine unless someone stole it out of the school's parking lot. Actually, I do go down to Enterprise quite often as my girlfriend's family lives down there but I haven't been in over a month so it would not have been my green D1 you saw. |

It occurred to me today that the stranded green disco on the side of the road belongs to a car dealer in enterprise . . . as in "for sale". I guess the car dealer was taking a customer out for a spin and the poor D1 broke down on him. How embarassing that would be. The alarming thing is that the car dealer has left it on the side of the road for about two days. Once I see it back on the lot, I might drive by there and see if they will be "up-front" with its problems. |
