After putting on the sliders today I just had to go and get them muddy. Just a friend and I went and for the first time in almost a year of wheeling, I got the Rover stuck. I got overconfident. Anyhow, had to call my dad who lived closed to where we were at and had him pull me out with his 2WD F250. He did have to jerk me 2 or 3 times, but it did the trick. He was beaming I'll never live that one down. Damn peer pressure. |

I recently go tmine stuck for the first time also. Was d*#$@, dropping a girl off, and saw an interesting spot beyond the culdesack and found a creek that happen to be a little wider than my wheel base so my front and rear bumpers were sitting on the ground while my terrible Pirelli's searched for traction.
Two night's later, d*&$# again, and had to show the neigborhood detention pond who was boss. The Detention pond won. This one called for a wrecker cause I was 150 feet from any solid ground. I mark that down as a rough weekend!! |
