Hi-
I want to put a Series Land Rover weathervane on my newly built garage. Has anyone ever seen such a thing? I would hope for wrought iron or copper. I built the 2 1/2 car garage myself and plan on completely geeking it out with Rover stuff. Finally a place to work on my cars and hang out! Thanks...

Wow, that sounds like a cool idea but you are definitely searching for the proverbial needle in the hay stack. If it was me I would search around for a while (concentrating mostly on overseas vendors) and then just bite the bullet by finding someone who makes weather-vanes and giving them a picture of a Series Rover.

Hmm, if it were me, I would remember that there is this really cool thing out there called the "world wide web", or www for short.

I would use this tool to do a search, using a search engine like google, for web pages that contain the phrase "land rover" and the word "weathervane". And then I would order a weathervane.

weathervane

weathervanes

Pugsly-
Wow! I was just about to find a clever retort to your basically unfriendly reply when I discovered you had found a nice Rover weathervane on a search, thanks. Naturally I had already done that but somehow had missed that site within the hundreds available to us with the nifty "WWW" . Thank you for enlightening me.

Glad it was useful, I tried to upload the picture of it, but had an error on the upload.

It worked fine when I tried it in the practice area but wouldn't work in this area. Any idea why?

That is beyond cool. Wish I had a barn to put one on.... Or even a house. Sometimes living in the city doesn't have advantages.
