....miles on my Disco. Go ahead, laugh, but it's taken me seven months to get there. So, I don't get out much, LOL!

Karen, still has new car smell, too! In the TRUCK ;)

I have 65K, if you want the extra miles, I'll trade you straight up! Just trade the miles though, not the truck, I like my Disco, and I bet you like yours :)

Damn, Karen. I've put 29K miles on Winston in 18 months. I guess I just like being seen in mine more than you do! (to the tune of Nanny Nanny Boo Boo with my tongue sticking out). Can you tell it's a Friday afternoon?

Karen,

Good for you, (sincerley) LOL! ... Now I don't feel quite so all alone ... It will be a year next week, and I've only got 10,500 miles on "Ricky". .... However, yesterday I broke down and put this stupid clip on air freshener thing on the sunvisor (PU!), because it smells more like dirt inside :( Love that "new car smell" ... Lucky you!

LOL, you guys! William, I more than like my Disco, I'm damned well SMITTEN with it. No, I haven't felt the urge to name my truck, nor do I know it's gender, but I know it's a LUV THANG, fer sure! I've been known to pat it on the ass tire as I pass by ;)

Greg and Brian, we drove it a LOT (for us, at least) the first few weeks, and that put a lot of miles on it (probably the first 1500 or so). You know how it is, new car, let's take a road trip. Then life settles down and the routine normalizes. I like to see places and things more than I like to be seen myself. Enough of that in my daily life. Hard to go too far between feed times, though.

Eric, I use my driveway to exercise the low range! LOL, I DO! Remember, I fall out my back door to go to work, so I have a REALLY short commute. :)

Kim, mah sistah! I say better dirt smell (what would Martha call that? L'aroma D'Earth?) than those stinky paper trees! Better to get a real pine bough and throw it in the back seat! I still get the new car smell on a warm day....ahhhhh......smells like.....payments! LOL!

Dean, yup, oil's been changed twice (at 1000 miles and again at 3000 I think). Looks like you're in the lo milz club, too!

Karen....damn, I think I'm a posuer! Can you be a poseur if you're stock? LOL!

I have 82,057 on my 97 this morning. 3:1 odds that I'll break 100k before January 1. Any takers?

yo kj! - wazzup girlfriend?

howz is the most famous wrapper in your neck of the woods doin'? - chick you are sooo ghetto!

anyway - congrats on finally reaching 5k.
would recommend you drive in excess of 10 miles atleast once every week / two weeks in one go.

it takes atleast that to purge all the moisture out of the exhast to keep mr internal rust away. (this is true on any car - not just rovers - though i think an audi have a heat sensitive by pass valve that allowed the water to drain out before going thru the entire system...)

anyway -that is all. resume horsing around
at your leisure

Don't some schools in California offer ebonics as a foreign language alternative? Somebody told me that a couple of days ago, I don't doubt it, California is kind of strange :)

Yo, numbah 15,

You bet I give it the old Italian (it WAS Italian, wasn't it?) Tune Up once every couple of weeks. I make sure David isn't along when I do it because it makes him nervous . I usually try to out gun something I know I can beat, like an Escort. Yup, when I beat those 4 cyls off the line, WOWIE, what a rush, LOL!

Now, I've got big doin's tomorrow of the non-Rover kind, but need all your good Shaman mojo to help smooth the Universal Path to R,G.R's future happiness. Send me all your Eternal Good Stuff, eh? Damned well serious and Cosmically grateful, I am,

All them names ;)
