How much should/could I shave off the heads of the 3.9 heads, to retain stock or better compression ratio, if I use composite gaskets? How much "meat" is available to remove before you get into trouble? Thanks eric |

Does your 3.9 have shim gaskets now or composites? If composite, you dont need to skim them. If shims, check the manual for skim limit (dont recall right now) - there is a head thickness check point diagram, showing min thickness. |

It had the metal shim gasket. It is a '90. |
