New article from local press. Some good pics of the rig and better info. I'm surprised they went with one button to operate both lockers. I especially like the "beefed up body protection" whcih includes the oh-so-protective diamond plate.

One button turns both lockers on/off???? I sure hope they like rolling down hills cause there are lots of times you want to be able to turn that front locker off when you start to track sideways.

I thought the Rubicon had a switch for the rear locker, and then another that toggles the front on and off. The front can't be engaged unless the rear is engaged.

I experimented with the locking axle differentials, controlled by a single toggle switch (see photo). I pushed down to lock the rear, and again to lock the front. Pushing down again alternately unlocks and locks the front axle. To unlock both, you simply pull up.

According to the caption:

"A single toggle switch controls the Dana model 44 locking differentials. Pushing down once locks the rear axle. Then pushing down alternately locks and unlocks the front axle. Lifting the switch unlocks both."

Given the choice, I would prefer an ARB-like setup with an arming switch and then separate actuator switches for each diff.

Sucks that it is limited production special. They should make it part of the regular line up. The cool thing though is that folks who have newer wranglers can buy the axles and such from the dealer and swap them in themselves.

If I had the cash I would buy one for the Rover. He needs the company.
