Hey all,
Just wanted to introduce myself. I am a new owner of a DII (2002 Westminster Edition). I am in Salt Lake City, UT. I am looking for people who like to go out wheeling and what not, as I am sure to get myself stuck one day soon and could use a "buddy" out there to get me out.

Anyway, I enjoy the site and have learned alot from it already. THANKS!

Ken
I spent a little time in SLC a couple of years ago. There is a good place to go wheeling I forget exactly where it is but it's by the rock query at the base of the mountain by Kennacott mine. I think the the locals call it oakie trails or somthing like that. Ask John Malcomie at Intermountain LR where it is he should know (if he's still there)I know how to get there but it's been so long I forgot the actual streets. I think you take 80th towards kennacott till it ends at a rock querry. go left till you see alot of anteneas on your right (about 1 mile) and there should be a turn off (dirt) to your left go left till you get to railroad tracks. You won't be able to cross the tracks here so go right paralell to the tracks and you will come to a spot were you can cross to the left. when you cross you will see the trails. Nohing to major but a lot of fun. you won't need to take anyone with you but it never hurts. Hopfully you will be able to find it. Let me know if you do

Ken,
Thanks for the info. I have been out there already a little bit, but always ready to go back for more. There are plenty of good places to go here in Utah. I just want a good challenge without killing myself. Well I guess I am even up for dying if the trail is cool enough. Anyway, thanks again.

well I guess we found the other Ken, I thought there was someone else registered as just "Ken", I guess not if the new Ken was able to register though.
