I'm so bored I'm going to head to my study with a bottle of Coppolla's Claret, a Macanudo Duke of Windsor and continue reading Robert Ruark's Something of Value, for the umpteenth time I must I admit.

Any other Ruark fans out there, let me know. I collect quite a few of his books and am always looking.

G'night Paul, 'night Blake, 'night Ho...

Don

Well, I'm sitting up by choice, listening to my favorite radio show of the week, '80s Rewind. Flavored seltzer and chips for me....I gotta find some better snacks!

Well, I'm watching Mulholland Drive for the second night in a row trying to make sense of it. I think I need more beer. It's either the best Lynch movie yet or the worst movie ever, I haven't decided.

I'm at a small liberal arts school so my major is just Political Science. The global book isn't that great but some of the ones for my "Bush v Gore" class (yes, there is an entire 400 level course dedicated to it this term!!!) are quite stellar.

I went to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, Agricultural Bus. with a minor in Viticulture. We really didn't have to deal with all of the Poly Sci. classes.

So paul, you grow grapes?

Used to grow grapes for raisins in the central valley of Ca. The market went to crap and we got out at the right time. We used to have almost 400 acres of Thompson Seedless. It was in our family for almost 30 yrs.

Now I deal irrigation eqipment. Mainly Cummins Deisel and Natural Gas engines for deep well pumps.

That sounds like it would be a pretty interesting class, even though I found that most of the classes that dealt with those topics turned into heated debates over the litmus test issues and their foundations. I was finishing my degree (poli sci/ military diplomacy) when that crazy election happened and the best part was the next day you weren't just a poli sci geek on campus...you were a poli sci geek on campus that might be able to explain what was going on! Many of my friends in my major used it to pick up girls! I know, lame, but even hot chicks want to know whats going on.

yeah, it is a great class and actually very objective no heated arguments to speak of just good discussion with many different view points.

I also go to a small liberal arts school...
One of the few remaining all male schools...
Southside Virginia...
Anyone want to play name the school?

10 points to the first one to name it, although chances are I'll forget to check this post and no one will win.

Why the hell am I still awake? Oh yeah, 10 page ecology term paper: "Oyster Aquaculture on the Eastern Shore: Economical and Environmental Effects of Restocking the Chesapeake Bay with Disease Resistant Specimens" Anyone have any input?

Desperately seeking a pillow,
JR

Hampden Sydney College, now can these points be redeemed for cash and valuable prizes????

As for the oysters I suggest you try them raw, on a saltine with cocktail sauce :) Seriously though good luck with the paper, I will be up all night studying for a Natural History test myself.

Damn, we have a winner.

Yeah, you can redeem those points for various prizes. I've got a valuable imitation gold chain (valued at 25 cents) for the first person to collect 32,000 points.

Good luck with the test buddy.
