I just got my confirmation letter for the Japanese national trials yesterday.

Too bad you have to provide your own transportation to the trials!

It's not to bad. Luckily, all of Japan isn't much bigger than the state of California so I don't have to far to go.

Plus it gives me a chance to stop by the Tokyo dealer and check out the '03 Freelanders. I've been thinking about trading in my wife's Land Cruiser for one.

Search archives, there are alot of past disscusions about the G4, it's kinda old news. The general feeling is "give me a break". Most liked the Camel Trophy so much and this seems like a road trip as far as I can see, info is sparse. A good Land Rover event needs a real chalange like the un-charted jungle!
