I just purchased a 1993 RR LWB with a coil spring conversion and bilsteen shocks. It rides 100% better than my wifes 1995 discovery. She is pissed off why dosnt hers ride as smooth as mine. I know that the LWB makes some diffrence but could her springs and shocks just be worn out? what brand should I look for to replace them with? She dosnt do any off roading with it just daily driving what spring rate should I go with? standard, med or heavy? Old Man Emu, land rover, or other brand of springs? any help would be grate.

to answer your question, there's probably no way to make her disco ride better.

disco in general needs stiffer springs, shocks, and sway bars to prevent excessive lean in the turns. you can play with it, i've tried OME shocks but ditched them in favor of Bilsteins - too much lean and sway (although, John Lee at EE mentioned a possibility of the OME shocks I had not quite right for the application).

anything stiffer than stock springs and shocks will only make the ride worse. I remember the stock disco's ride being much smoother than it is now.

i'd say use the softest springs and shocks on the disco that you can find, and stiffen up the sway bars. I don't know if anyone makes stiffer sway bars for a disco, you may have to sleeve yours.
