The Flatland Rover Society is having our second annual "Rookie Day" at Randolph ORV Area near Manhattan, KS this coming Saturday 11/16/02. Everyone is welcome, the focus is on beginning offroad driving. There will be several of us there to help you feel comfortable behind the wheel offroad, provide pointers, and technique. There is also plenty to entertain the advanced vehicles/drivers at this area, as well! Several will be there Friday evening and another group early Saturday morning. Please e-mail me or post any questions here. All are welcome!

There will be a K-State/Nebraska football in Manhattan that day. Game time is 11:30 am. Traffic in and around Manhattan and along I-70 and US-24 will be very heavy. In order to avoid some of this traffic, people coming from the Kansas City area should follow the route shown on the map below.
